In order to execute effectively and strategically, we must demonstrate the ability to clarify and articulate the desired objectives, outcomes or simply what is the problem to be solved.
Do I identify the underlying source of problems:
Lack of skill?
Lack of will or commitment?
Lack of structure to support success?
Do I bring potential solutions instead of reporting problems.
Do I bring solutions that include benefits, risks, costs, timeframes and most importantly, their potential unintended consequences.
Do I consistently bring new ideas and fresh approaches for consideration.
Do I take initiative to communicate and solve problems early and often, even those outside of my direct responsibilities.
