For over twenty-five years, Vikki Scarafiotti has provided professional leadership as well as volunteer and community service to a multitude of nonprofit and government agencies serving such diverse interests as the arts, health, environment, and youth. For the past seven year period she served as the President/CEO of the Arthritis Foundation, Greater Southwest Chapter and saw continued results in program effectiveness, fund development and strategic initiative execution.
Professionally, Vikki has served other organizations in the following capacities:

• Executive Director – Scottsdale Girls Club, Scottsdale, AZ
• Executive Director – Girls, Inc. and Girls, Inc. Day Care Center, Odessa, TX
• Deputy Secretary – Dept. of Health and Environment, Santa Fe, New Mexico
• Director of Rehabilitative Services – Central Louisiana State Psychiatric Hospital, Pineville, Louisiana
• Registered Music Therapy Internship Director – Central Louisiana State Hospital, Pineville, Louisiana
Among her numerous professional accomplishments was the development and implementation of two new initiatives that provided college scholarships for individuals impacted by their arthritis at all three public universities in Arizona and the implementation and funding for a new rheumatology fellow at The University of Arizona Medical School in Tucson, Arizona. The Arthritis Foundation signature gala was honored as the Number 1 Oscar event in the country, among 52 other sanctioned events. Revenues increased by 100% and services to individuals by some 200%.
Her volunteer and community service include: Director of the State Liquor Board, State of Arizona, Board Member for the Department of Recreation and Tourism, Arizona State University, American Humanics Community Advisory Board, Arizona State University, Kiwanis International, American Society for Public Administration, National Association for Music Therapy, Inc., the Arizona Arts Chorale, Valley of the Sun United Way, and the National Task Force for Camp Fire USA.
Prior to earning her MA in Public Administration with honors from the University of New Mexico, Vikki was conferred with her BA in Music Therapy from the Eastern New Mexico University. The Camp Fire Board of Directors honored her by naming their scholarship fund after her and the National Camp Fire USA awarded her the Amos Dudley Award for excellence in leadership.
